Ok, I know you have choices. If you Pin, Tweet, Instagram, Facebook, or engage any of the other popular social media outlets, you have a veritable buffet table of choices to select from when you’re thinking about finally getting down to some healthy grocery shopping. Maybe you’ve been a healthy shopper for a while now and are just looking for some inspiration, some ideas to buy things you might not normally buy. Maybe you’re someone who is facing a health crisis, and need to make some major changes to your diet and lifestyle.

In either case, you need to go to the store and get some food, and you don’t want to have to spend a lot of time figuring out what to buy. So you go online for some ideas.

And two hours later, you’ve collected 30 different sets of ideas, and now you have to choose among them. Block out another hour of time for that.

On the other hand, what if you could find one good place to go for ideas, tips and tools to help you on that shopping trip?

Here’s where our Healthy Grocery Shopping List can come in handy. Unlike a lot of the lists you’ll see out there, this one is comprehensive. It also arranges things by category so you can easily find what you’re looking for as you go through each section of your favorite grocery, warehouse, or one-stop-shopping superstore.

Here’s how I use mine: before going to the store, I mark the items I want with a star. If there’s an item I want that’s not already on the list, I use the line at the end of each section to write in the item I want to buy. Then, I put a check mark next to the item after I’ve put it in my basket. It makes the whole process a lot simpler and faster, even when I’ve got kids along for the trip (and you know how kids can distract you with 20 mostly sugar-filled things they want you to buy, when you’re just trying to get through your shopping trip without spending a fortune).

Try this list on your next shopping trip and tell me how it worked for you. Was it helpful? Were there other things you would have liked to see on the list? Let me know: I’d love to hear from you. Just drop me a line by going to and clicking on the email icon.
